LuLaRoe Elegant Collection- Aftermath

LuLaRoe is a young company- almost 4 years old (in May of 2017!)- which is great because all ideas are fresh, new and they are so energetic! But that also means some growing pains- and they admit that on the home office calls, whenever they make a mistake.
Because a lot of consultants wanted the Elegant collection, they ended up overloading the ordering system. No one could get in to place an order, our invoicing system started running really slow- it was a big headache to be on the LuLaRoe back office systems for 3 or 4 days afterward.

We got this from the home office:

"Hello Hello!!!

Due to all of the love and excitement for our Elegant Collection Launch, our systems are currently functioning at a slower rate than usual.

Although it may take some time, you will still be able to place your orders.

We thank you for your patience during this time, you rock!!!"

Again, I love how they support us :)

BUT not only was the back office down, the Elegant Collection launch slowed down shipping by WEEKS. I placed an order- not including any elegant pieces- and it took 3 weeks to ship out. THEN it had to get to me from CA to NY (East coast warehouse coming soon!). The 2016 Mimi, Halloween and Elegant launches taught the company a lot about the system and the best way to do capsule and style releases- Valentine's 2017 went MUCH smoother, no shipping delays, the majority of the time the system didn't crash, etc. etc.

I opted out of Valentine's because I saw the craziness that happened behind the scenes, but it seems like they corrected the major problems. I might opt into the next capsule, we'll see!
